Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Chief Procurement Manager - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing to lead owner-side procurement across multiple packages (TX, AL, VA, PA, OH, IN, WI). This full-time role focuses on EPC procurement review, vendor qualification, and long-lead item management on a greenfield campus, ensuring GMP compliance and adherence to the client’s contracting standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract/procurement management within pharma or related heavy industries,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with related procurement experience
• 15+ years of contract/procurement administration or supply chain experience
• Pharma or heavy process industry experience preferred
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Excellent communication with executive-level clients

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement staff and mentor team members
• Oversee bid processes with subcontractors and equipment suppliers
• Evaluate bids for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with GMP and contracting standards
• Draft and manage procurement contracts and purchase orders
• Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, suppliers, and construction to resolve issues and maintain schedules
