FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in North Carolina is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Process Automation team, focusing on DeltaV and ABB DCS implementation, troubleshooting, and validation support for upstream and downstream operations.

You will review specifications, collaborate across functions, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to quality activities while maintaining validated automation systems within cGMP environments.

Qualifications

B.Sc. degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
1-2+ years of pharmaceutical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Automation Engineer focusing on DeltaV and ABB DCS for operations support.
Review and revise user, functional and process specs for automation systems.
Troubleshoot DeltaV/ABB code for validation and production systems.
Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 manufacturing support.
Collaborate across manufacturing, instruments/controls, process engineering and CQV.
Participate in design qualification and testing activities.
Ensure automation systems remain validated and compliant.
Support other automation systems on site (PLC, BMS, etc.).
