Fujifilm Biotechnologies in North Carolina seeks an Automation Engineer to support implementation, troubleshooting and repair of DeltaV and ABB DCS systems for manufacturing. You will review requirements, collaborate across teams, and contribute to validation activities to ensure compliant automation solutions across upstream and downstream processes.

The role requires a 1–2+ year background in pharma automation, with experience in DeltaV/ABB DCS and GMP/GAMP familiarity.

Qualifications

B.Sc. degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
1–2+ years of engineering experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Familiarity with validated automation systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

Implement, troubleshoot, and repair DeltaV/ABB DCS systems to support manufacturing operations.
Review and revise user, functional, and process requirements for automation projects.
Troubleshoot code and functionality for validation and production systems in upstream and downstream processes.
Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 manufacturing support.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Instruments and Controls, Process Engineering, and CQV to develop robust automation solutions.
Contribute to Design Qualification and related testing activities.
Maintain adherence to defined procedures and validated states of automation systems.
Support other automation systems on site, including PLCs and BMS.
