Job summary

Guerbet is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to lead the packaging operations for pharmaceutical products in a GMP-regulated environment. You will supervise staff, ensure schedules, and maintain compliance with quality standards while driving process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering, 5 years of supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of validation, CAPA, and regulatory requirements. Occasional overtime and weekend coverage may be needed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to present to large groups.
• Proficiency with standard desktop software and documentation systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of GMP and safety regulations.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certification preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise packaging operations to meet or exceed production schedules/goals.
• Oversee packaging of pharmaceutical products with quality and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and review packaging process documentation.
• Train and manage packaging personnel.
• Mentor packaging staff in their careers.
• Apply root cause analysis to improve packaging processes and resolve problems.
• Identify and implement process improvements (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Write Deviations related to packaging operations.
• Support change control initiatives and validation activities.
• Oversee engineering studies related to packaging and coordinate validations.
• Propose and implement improvements to reduce cost and improve compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
