Qualifications

• 5 years of supervisory experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or FDA regulated environment.
• Experience with validation, CAPA, and regulatory compliance processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for large groups.
• Familiarity with GMP and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise packaging operations to meet or exceed production schedules/goals.
• Oversee packaging of pharmaceutical products ensuring quality and regulatory adherence.
• Prepare and review packaging process documentation.
• Train and manage personnel on packaging processes and equipment.
• Develop and mentor packaging staff in their careers.
• Apply root cause analysis to improve packaging processes and resolve problems.
• Identify and implement improvements to packaging processes (CAPA/CC).
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
• Write deviations related to packaging operations.
• Participate in and support change control initiatives.
• Oversee engineering studies related to packaging.
• Coordinate validation activities for packaging processes.
• Propose and implement improvements to reduce cost and improve compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
