BD, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking a Packaging Operator 2 in Sparks, MD to package pharmaceutical products, operate packaging machinery, perform in-process checks, and document activities per cGMP standards.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing or packaging, strong attention to detail, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. The position supports the B shift, with alternating weeks and long hours.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot packaging machinery.
• Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and quality control principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English.
• Basic mathematical skills for calculations and data recording.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery (fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners).
• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting per SOPs.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and record results accurately.
• Document all production activities, batch records, logs, and equipment usage clearly.
• Adhere to cGMP, safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and sanitation of equipment.
• Identify and report deviations, quality issues, or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Participate in training programs to enhance packaging process knowledge.
• Assist with material handling, loading and unloading components and finished goods.
