Job summary

BD is seeking an on-site Manufacturing Associate in USA MD - Sparks to perform packaging, filling, labeling, and inspection tasks within a GMP-regulated environment. You will follow standard procedures, set up and operate equipment, maintain production records, and communicate progress across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 3 years manufacturing or warehouse experience including 1 year FDA/relevant regulated environment.
• Ability to follow GMP and SOPs and maintain accurate logs/records.
• Able to stand long periods and work in a repetitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for packaging materials in accordance with SMP and SOP including equipment setup, cleanup and documentation
• Filling, assembling, labeling and inspecting under supervision
• Maintain accuracy in weighing materials per SMP/SOP tolerances
• Communicate status of product or process within the manufacturing team
• Move materials from storage/staging to workspace using material handling equipment
• Set up, operate and clean production equipment including scales, filling lines, bagging and shrink-wrap equipment
• Maintain accurate production records (logs, batch history, label reconciliation, work orders)
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems with minimal supervision
• Provide training support for onboarding and new procedures
• Support special projects as needed
• Follow GMP procedures and BD safety/ housekeeping policies
• Overtime as required to meet BD business needs
