Job summary

BD in Sparks, MD is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support packaging and production in a regulated environment. This role involves setting up and operating equipment, weighing materials, labeling, and maintaining accurate records.

You will work with the manufacturing team, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and follow GMP and SOPs. The position requires a high school diploma and 3 years in manufacturing or warehouse, with FDA-regulated experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 3 years in manufacturing or warehouse.
• At least 1 year in FDA/relevant regulated environment.
• Ability to read, follow SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Strong records/logs management and data handling.
• Forklift license may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Package materials per SMP and SOP with setup, cleanup, and documentation.
• Fill, assemble, label and inspect products with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accuracy in weighing materials within tolerance.
• Communicate product/process status across shifts via reports or verbally.
• Move required materials using material handling equipment.
• Set up, operate and clean production equipment (e.g., IFL, bagging, scales).
• Maintain production records including logs and batch history.
