Job summary

BD is hiring for an on-site manufacturing role in Sparks, MD. You will package materials per SMP/SOP, weigh and label products, and maintain accurate production records while working within GMP guidelines.

The role requires basic math, record-keeping, and the ability to operate material handling equipment and packaging lines. Responsibilities include setting up and cleaning production equipment, assisting with weight tolerances, and supporting the lead with training and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School degree with 3 years manufacturing or warehouse experience including minimum 1 year FDA/relevant regulated environment
• Must maintain neat, accurate records and logs manually or electronically
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic and follow SOPs

Responsibilities

• Package materials per SMP and SOP with setup, clean-up, and documentation
• Fill, assemble, label and inspect under supervision
• Move materials from storage to workspace using handling equipment
• Set up, operate, and clean production equipment including weighing scales and fill lines
• Maintain production records such as logs and batch history
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems with minimal supervision
• Provide training support for onboarding and new procedures
• Follow GMP, safety, and housekeeping policies
