Job summary

Cipla in Fall River, MA seeks a Packaging Operator I on the 3rd shift to perform packaging of MDI products in a cGMP environment. Responsibilities include operating packaging equipment, ensuring quality, and documenting results according to SOPs.

You will perform line clearances, basic maintenance, and required safety procedures while working with a team to meet production schedules and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College certificate or university degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in packaging operations preferred.
• Proficient in English (speaking/reading/writing) to understand instructions and document results.
• Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment with minimal rejection and maximum output while maintaining quality.
• Perform cleaning and changeovers between batches/products.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on machines and identify corrective actions.
• Ensure proper labeling and calibration records are maintained.
• Complete tasks safely, accurately, and in compliance with SOPs and cGMPs.
• Work as part of a team and follow departmental SOPs.
