Job summary

Cipla New York (InvaGen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) is seeking a Packaging Supervisor in Fall River, MA to supervise packaging operators and oversee production in the absence of the Packaging Manager. This role emphasizes compliance with cGMP, FDA requirements, and SOPs.

You will manage shifts, coordinate with Line Leaders, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain documentation; experience with SAP and Systech serialization is a plus, along with 2+ years leading teams in pharmaceutical packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field required.
• 2–4 years of direct work experience in pharmaceutical packaging.
• Preference for experience in generic pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging.
• Minimum 2 years directly managing a team.
• 2 years’ cGMP work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts and conduct activities in the absence of the Packaging Manager.
• Supervise floor activities and provide guidance to operators.
• Support Line Leaders and other employees when needed.
• Maintain and enforce cGMP practices across all areas.
• Work with SAP and Systech systems for packaging operations and serialization.
• Train employees and document in-process entries.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of equipment and work areas.
• Lead SOP writing and ensure regulatory compliance.
