Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Packaging Engineer to design, implement, and optimize pharmaceutical packaging systems in a cGMP environment. You will manage packaging specifications, support projects and product launches, lead change controls, and troubleshoot packaging issues while ensuring GMP compliance.

The role requires collaboration with operations, quality, engineering, and clients to drive improvements and validation activities related to packaging equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial.
• At least 1 year in a pharmaceutical cGMP environment.
• Experience supporting packaging operations, manufacturing, or engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain packaging systems and specs for products.
• Lead and manage packaging-related changes with documentation.
• Drive packaging projects from planning through implementation and launches.
• Troubleshoot packaging lines and equipment, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations to improve packaging line performance and reliability.
• Support serialization and ensure GMP/regulatory compliance and training.
