Job summary

Amgen seeks an Engineer in Packaging Engineering to apply engineering principles to the design, qualification and implementation of primary and secondary packaging components and related systems for global supply and new product introductions. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Process Development teams to support development and commercial activities.

The role requires a Master’s or a Bachelor’s with 2+ years of packaging engineering experience, and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s with 2 years of Engineering experience.
• Proficient in presenting and communicating effectively in English and Spanish.
• Experience creating and modifying engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, SolidWorks or comparable tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for manufacturing and packaging operations; troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
• Perform distribution testing per ASTM D4169 and related standards (ISO, TAPPI, USP, EP).
• Serve as a technical resource for equipment, systems, and packaging components evaluations; support cross-functional teams.
