Job summary

PCI Pharma Services seeks a Package Designer II to help develop and launch new packaging designs and optimize existing ones. You will engage customers, coordinate with vendors, and support R&D and prototyping in PCI's Design Lab.

Using SolidWorks, Artios-CAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite, you will create design solutions and visual presentations while collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive successful product commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 2+ years related industry experience and/or training.
• Advanced training for CAD-based design software (SolidWorks & Artios-CAD) and experience with graphic design/photo editing software such as the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in development of drug delivery device packaging and child resistant/adult friendly packaging with performance testing and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Designs and assembles a wide variety of complex packaging systems that meet customer requirements and PCI capabilities.
• Creates sketches, 3D renderings and visual presentations of packaging concepts.
• Communicates ideas and improvements to customers and internal teams through digital presentations or meetings.
• Creates and modifies packaging structural drawings and web layouts using CAD platforms.
• Reviews and edits structural elements to meet customer requests and PCI requirements.
• Supports prototyping activities in the Design Lab and manages supplies.
