Job summary

PCI Pharma Services seeks a Senior Package Designer to support design and commercialization of packaging solutions for lifesaving medicines. You will lead CAD-driven development, prototype new designs, supervise interns/co-ops, and ensure designs align with production capabilities and equipment safety.

The role requires advanced CAD training (ArtiosCAD), SolidWorks experience, and knowledge of packaging programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 7-10 years related experience and/or training
• Advanced training for CAD based design software: ArtiosCAD
• Experience with SolidWorks and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Broad knowledge of packaging programs including production function and capability

Responsibilities

• Design, specify and implement new structural packaging designs.
• Coordinate design to extend product life cycles and support marketing objectives.
• Use CAD software to design components and complete packaging systems.
• Prototype designs and manage lab resources.
• Evaluate package designs and recommend optimal solutions.
• Test packaging and materials for manufacturability and performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Estimating, PM, Purchasing, Engineering, and others.
