Job summary

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. (V&EG) is seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead packaging equipment and asset qualification projects at the site.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and cross-functional coordination from initiation to installation and turnover, combining disciplined project management with GMP packaging expertise. The successful candidate will collaborate with Engineering, Validation, Quality, Operations, and Maintenance to ensure GMP compliance, IQ/OQ/PQ,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• ≥5 years in project management/engineering in a cGMP pharma packaging environment.
• Experience with FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ lifecycle.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedules, budgets and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of GMP, change control, deviations, CAPA and validation docs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
• On-site work in Allentown.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple packaging equipment projects from initiation to closeout.
• Define project charters, scope, deliverables, budgets, milestones, and governance.
• Develop integrated schedules across design, procurement, FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Monitor cost, schedule, resources, risks; implement mitigations.
• Coordinate Engineering, Validation, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and procurement.
• Facilitate meetings; maintain records, dashboards, and updates.
• Maintain risk, issue, decision, change, and action logs; manage change control.
• Ensure GMP compliance and alignment with validation documentation.
• Support equipment transfer, URS, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and startup.
• Balance resources with site priorities and protect critical path.
