Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. is seeking a Material Coordinator to manage end-to-end material flow in a pharmaceutical warehouse.

You will handle receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring accuracy, safety, and GMP compliance while utilizing ASCTrac and SAP IM/EWM systems. The role requires hands-on understanding of warehouse operations, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to process improvements to maintain high standards of accuracy and productivity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years in warehousing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations: receiving, housekeeping, item tagging, location management, shipping, LTL trucking, service providers, purchasing interface, packaging, problem resolution.
• Understanding of chemical handling, SDS, and DOT requirements for hazardous materials in high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with computer systems and MS Office, commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Ability to articulate business priorities and solve problems; strong analytical reasoning and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify, pick up, and kit materials for manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate material availability, monitor usage trends, and mentor junior staff.
• Count, inspect, document receipts, and report discrepant goods to the buyer.
• Complete GMP-compliant documentation.
• Maintain safety and cleaning procedures; coach team on quality standards.
• Promote safety through PPE and safe handling practices; identify hazards.
