Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Manager for the Pharmaceutical Market in North America. You will build strategic relationships with major pharmaceutical customers and drive growth by positioning pressure relief solutions, managing long sales cycles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will travel up to 50% across North America, lead pharma account development, and ensure accurate pipeline visibility using Salesforce, contributing to revenue growth and market share expansion.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in pharma/biotech or industrial equipment sectors.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to communicate complex product concepts.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and structured pipeline management.
• Experience managing multi-state territories and long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Pharma Account Development: build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers in major pharmaceutical organizations.
• Territory Growth Strategy: identify, target, and convert new and expansion opportunities in North America.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Regional Sales Managers and internal teams to win strategic accounts.
• Technical Expertise: guide engineering and maintenance teams in selecting pressure relief solutions.
• CRM & Pipeline Management: maintain accurate pipeline data using Salesforce and provide funnel updates.
• Project Identification & Pursuit: map stakeholders for early-stage projects and secure specifications.
• Market Intelligence: monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform leadership.
