Job summary

Otsuka ICU Medical LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Quality (MQ) Inspector to monitor production processes for cGMP compliance and to perform quality control tests in the bag fabrication, overwrap and packaging areas of production.

You will inspect materials, batch records, and final products, perform release testing, document results, and collaborate with internal and external customers to uphold quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must pass written and practical area requirements for area/certification.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and read, understand, and communicate well with others.
• Working knowledge of mathematical calculations and data entry into computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspects materials, batch records and final products during production or offline.
• Evaluates products for defects and determines conformity to specifications.
• Performs testing on commodities and final product to determine acceptance.
• Collects samples for stability and lab testing per procedures.
• Inputs data into batch records and reports; monitors lines for irregularities.
