Job summary

Moriah Engineering is seeking two experienced Industrial Engineers to support manufacturing efficiency and process optimization initiatives for a pharmaceutical and medical device operation in Jayuya, Puerto Rico. The selected professionals will evaluate, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes, including filling, sealing, printing, packaging, and other related production operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years evaluating and optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (pharma/medical devices).
• Strong data analysis, performance tracking, and trend identification.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence.
• Ability to lead or collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presenting findings.
• On-site availability in Jayuya, Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze filling, sealing, printing, packaging, and related operations.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Lead or support cross-functional teams on improvement projects.
• Apply lean principles and risk management to projects.
• Monitor critical-to-quality and critical-to-business metrics.
• Document and present findings, business cases, and recommendations.
• Quantify productivity, quality, cost, capacity, and cycle time improvements.
• Support implementation and sustainability of approved improvements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Calibration, and Operational Excellence teams.
