Job summary

Sharp Services is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, optimize, and troubleshoot pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. The role requires hands-on trouble shooting of electromechanical packaging equipment and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to support compliance and continuous improvement.

You will lead process improvement initiatives, ensure regulatory documentation, and mentor operators to achieve efficient, safe, and high-quality production in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or related field (degree in progress considered).
• 3+ years in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably pharma or life sciences.
• Knowledge of FDA, GMP, and regulatory requirements in a regulated environment.
• Experience with process design, process control, and equipment validation.
• Proficiency with engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, process simulation).
• Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma or similar CI methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement processes to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
• Evaluate and manage installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure GMP and FDA compliance with documentation and records.
• Author technical documents such as Change Controls and WRKIs; review MPRs.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional process improvement and scale-up projects.
• Train operators and technicians on new processes and safety procedures.
