Job summary

Astrix is hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to support regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role emphasizes troubleshooting complex equipment and maintaining compliant operations in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, documentation in GMP records, and collaboration with engineering and vendors. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' maintenance experience in regulated manufacturing.
• Pharmaceutical cGMP experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Able to read P&IDs and electrical schematics.
• Proficient with CMMS, PLCs/HMIs, and GMP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing, utility, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Support equipment installations, retrofits, and facility maintenance projects.
• Diagnose equipment issues and collaborate with engineering, production, and vendors to implement effective solutions.
• Complete maintenance documentation, work orders, and GMP records accurately and on time.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inspection‑ready facility.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to support facility and production equipment as needed.
