Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions in Charleston, SC is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support FDA-regulated pharmaceutical processing equipment, including HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems, with relocation assistance available.

The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and GMP documentation in a fast-paced environment. Candidates need 2–5 years in a regulated setting and a high school diploma, with an Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a regulated environment (FDA, NRC or similar) performing repairs on production and/or utility equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Prior pharma/cGMP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled P.M.s on equipment and records data per SOPs and cGMPs.
• Assists in installation and retrofit of facilities equipment per SOPs and cGMPs.
• Ensures Maintenance Management is informed of developments on a routine basis.
• Performs repairs to equipment and plant safely and efficiently to respond to requests.
• Troubleshoots equipment with owners, engineers, and vendors.
• Develops solutions for equipment issues.
• Completes paperwork and GMP documents clearly and timely.
• Maintains organized, clean workspace at all times.
