Job summary

Astrix Inc. is seeking entry-level Manufacturing Assembly & Packaging Associates to support drug product operations on the 3rd shift (8:00 PM start) with a 15% shift differential. The role runs from 8/24/2026 through 12/30/2026, with a potential return on 2nd shift for some team members through year-end, depending on fit.

Responsibilities include routine assembly and packaging in a GMP environment, equipment setup, documentation, and adherence to 5S standards, SOPs, and cGMP requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus at least 1 year of GMP-regulated industry experience.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior GMP environment experience in biotech/pharma is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in small teams.
• Basic math and ability to follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine assembly and packaging tasks in a multi-product drug manufacturing environment under supervision.
• Support senior associates with assembly and packaging activities.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting, changeovers, and minor repairs.
• Help set up automation equipment and semi-automated machines, gather tools and documentation.
• Complete batch records and SOP attachments; report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain 5S standards, cleaning and sanitization of production areas.
• Verify equipment calibration and logbooks.
• Support inspection and filling operations as needed.
• Ensure materials and supplies are stocked ahead of operations.
