Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for the 1st shift on our pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging lines. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations, handling mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and basic electrical issues.

You will document work orders in CMMS, support changeovers, ensure GMP/FDA/OSHA compliance, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality and Validation teams.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience maintaining pharmaceutical production equipment.
• Familiarity with CMMS for work orders and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Repair and maintain production equipment including fillers, tablet presses, encapsulators, conveyors, labelers, and packaging systems.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately within the CMMS.
• Support equipment changeovers and production startup activities.
• Ensure equipment operates in compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and company standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Validation teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs) as needed.
