Job summary

Padagis in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Maintenance Engineering Technician II responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical aspects of processing, manufacturing, and packaging equipment. Work includes machine rebuilding, preventive maintenance, and occasional moving of equipment.

The role operates on a third shift (Sun–Thu, 10pm–6am) with a pay rate of $29–$39 per hour plus a $2.25 shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 2+ years in equipment repair with installation/repair skills.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong math and reading comprehension; able to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot processing, manufacturing, and packaging equipment.
• Perform machine rebuilding, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Move equipment as needed and complete work orders.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce costs and improve quality.
