Job summary

Almac Group in Durham, NC is seeking a Distribution Coordinator to coordinate processing and shipment of distribution orders within the Distribution department. You will prioritize shipping orders, liaise with Project Services, communicate with customers, and assist in preparing Distribution Instructions.

Responsibilities include monitoring daily workloads, serving as the Distribution department's main contact for shipment queries, and providing regular performance reports to the Logistics

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Pharmaceutical or distribution experience preferred.
Experience in a professional office environment.

Responsibilities

Plan and monitor daily workload to meet distribution order timelines.
Serve as main contact for Distribution department for shipment queries.
Monitor logistics department performance and provide reports to Logistics Supervisor.
Assist in researching and preparing Quality Events as applicable.
Assist in generating and reviewing Distribution Instructions in Logistics.
Monitor Proof of Delivery (POD) information in COSMOS distribution system.
Investigate and reconcile orders that are on hold.
Represent Distribution/Logistics in customer teleconferences and meetings.
