Job summary

QPS is seeking a Logistics Technician in Springfield, MO on a PRN basis. The role supports daily logistics operations, including inventory management, kit assembly, and shipping coordination.

The technician will ensure materials and study kits are prepared accurately and delivered on schedule while maintaining documentation and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory records, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring correct kit contents and shipping labels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Experience in logistics, inventory management, laboratory support, or shipping/receiving preferred.
• Experience in a regulated industry laboratory preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand study protocols and lab manuals.
• Maintain inventory records using Excel and inventory systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Assemble laboratory and study kits per instructions and quality requirements.
• Prepare, package, and ship study kits and materials in compliance with procedures.
• Process incoming/outgoing shipments and maintain shipping documentation.
• Coordinate via email with internal teams, vendors, and study teams.
• Verify accuracy of kit contents, labeling, and shipments before distribution.
• Organize storage areas to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Track lot numbers and expiration dates; assist with reconciliation.
• Support study startup and ongoing logistics requirements as assigned.
