Job summary

LANNETT COMPANY, INC in Seymour, IN is seeking an analytical chemist to perform testing of raw materials, packaging materials and in-process samples for drug products. The role includes documenting results, peer reviewing data, and working within cGMP guidelines in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities include operating standard lab equipment, performing titrations and Karl Fischer analysis, and maintaining quality notebooks.

Qualifications

BS Degree in Chemistry or related field required.
AS Degree in Chemistry or related field with 2+ years pharma experience.
BS in non-science with 4+ years pharma experience.
Knowledge of cGMP, USP/NF, and FDA guidelines.
Experience with analytical methods and lab instrumentation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organization and time management.
Cross-functional teamwork experience.
Proficiency with Word/Excel; LIMS software familiarity.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate and timely analysis of raw materials, packaging, or in-process samples per procedures and safety guidelines.
Test using basic lab equipment (pH, Loss on Drying, Karl Fischer, Residue on Ignition, titrations).
Document all laboratory testing and maintain notebooks/records clearly.
Peer review data, reports, and notebooks.
Assist with other projects and duties as assigned.
