Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support cycle counting, coordinate with warehouse, QA, and production teams, and ensure accurate inventory in SAP. The role focuses on resolving discrepancies, maintaining data integrity, and supporting audits.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in Purchasing/Production Planning or manufacturing operations, with SAP/MES experience and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years Purchasing, Production Planning, Analyst, or Manufacturing Operations required.
• Experience with SAP, MES, and database programs beneficial.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support cycle counting and report results to Cost Accounting.
• Promote cross-functional communication between warehouse, production, and QA.
• Collaborate with QA to improve QA Hold item processes.
• Resolve MRP and inventory/discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe, clean workstation and adhere to safety policies.
• Analyze production requirements to purchase raw materials and complete monthly counts.
• Manage open orders to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Collaborate with site planners on production schedule changes.
• Support site inventory initiatives and audits.
