Job summary

The Hometown Pharmacy is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to manage purchasing, inventory, and vendor communications for our pharmacy supply chain. You will ensure stock levels are optimal, submit POs accurately, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and invoices.

You will also support in loading new NDCs, coordinating substitutions, and maintaining data in the inventory system. A detail-focused, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing and inventory management preferred.
• Strong Excel and data-entry skills are required.
• Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dedicated supply of all warehouse drugs.
• Know stock levels for each vendor.
• Submit the proper PO type (EDI, Email, Fax, Web portal).
• Order in correct case packs.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure POs are received.
• Update and maintain vendor licensure in records.
• Troubleshoot in MDS and fix PO/pack slip discrepancies.
• Pull store orders through MDS.
