Job summary

Wedgewood Pharmacy in Albany, OH is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to maintain inventory levels, stock production rooms, process incoming materials, and manage ERP data. The role supports quality and operational goals with GMP-compliant processes and an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, data entry, stock issuance, and coordinating with production and quality teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• APICs / CPIM certification strongly desired.
• Knowledge of cGMP guidelines/standards required.
• Demonstrated written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to manage time and adhere to time frames.
• Detail and accuracy oriented.
• Proficient with data management and shipping software.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of processing materials in an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Incoming materials processing and inventory management. Devises policies and procedures in the areas of inventory control.
• Material handling within the department, moving product and components and waste within the department as required.
• Manages cycle counting of physical materials and ensures accuracy of stock levels.
• Maintains material data in ERP system and manages receipt of inventory through software transactions.
• Reconciles potential inventory losses, investigates shortages and discrepancies, and perform KPI indicator assessments.
• Processes rejected materials, and records information, as needed.
• Responsible for stock issuance and returns for production activities
• Notifies the Quality Department when cGMP shipments arrive
• Leads the efforts to sanitize materials into the controlled area
• Works in other functions within the Warehouse department, as needed such as picking, packing and shipping.
• Able to lift up to 49 lbs. and stand for extended periods when required
