Job summary

PACIV in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to support pharmaceutical capital projects. You will manage, track, inspect, and document process instrumentation used in manufacturing systems while coordinating with project teams.

This hands-on role emphasizes organization, problem solving, and attention to detail on equipment like flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves; prior experience in regulated environments is favored.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, industrial, or project-support environments.
• Experience with equipment, materials, inventory, or technical documentation.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Instrumentation Tracking and Support: track instrumentation from purchase through delivery and installation; maintain project records.
• Receiving and Inspection: verify incoming instrumentation shipments and documentation; report discrepancies.
• Documentation Management: organize and maintain instrumentation records; support turnover packages; ensure GDP/cGMP compliance.
• Inventory and Material Coordination: work with warehouse and project teams to manage instrumentation inventory; coordinate storage and distribution.
• Project Support: collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams; provide status updates and resolve issues.
