Job summary

SUN PHARMA is seeking a 2nd shift packaging inspector to visually inspect, label and package pharmaceutical products. The role involves operating labeling and inspection equipment and ensuring clean, compliant packaging processes.

The candidate will follow SOPs, maintain batch records, and work within cGMP guidelines in a controlled production environment. Previous experience is beneficial, with attention to detail and ability to work on a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Biotechnology certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to visually inspect labels and prints.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect, label, assemble and package liquids, suspensions and lyophilized products in vials, ampoules, etc.
• Clean up labeling and packaging equipment and facility as needed.
• Maintain manufacturing records and complete required paperwork to comply with FDA/cGMPs.
• Report variances or deviations from standard procedures to department management.
• Stock materials utilized by the department.
• Operate semi-automatic inspection machine, vial label applicator and box imprinting machines.
• Other duties as assigned.
