Job summary

SUN PHARMA in Massachusetts is seeking a detail-oriented packaging technician for 1st shift 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will visually inspect, label, assemble and package liquids, suspensions, and lyophilized pharmaceutical products in vials and ampoules.

You will maintain manufacturing records, comply with FDA regulations, operate semi-automatic inspection equipment, and support clean-up and material stocking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Biotechnology certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to visually inspect labels and products.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English.
• Familiarity with cGMPs and SOPs.
• 0-2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect, label, assemble and package liquids, suspensions, and lyophilized pharmaceutical products in vials and ampoules.
• Operate inspection and labeling equipment and box imprinting machines.
• Maintain records and complete paperwork to comply with FDA regulations.
• Assist with cleaning and housekeeping of equipment and facility as needed.
• Report deviations from procedures to department management.
• Stock materials utilized by the department.
• Other duties as assigned.
