Job summary

August Bioservices is seeking experienced manufacturing technicians to support growing formulations and filling teams in Nashville, TN. The role requires GMP/GDP knowledge, ability to operate sterilization equipment, and adherence to strict documentation practices.

Candidates should have 1+ year in pharmaceutical manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cleanroom with PPE. This is a full-time on-site position in Nashville.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s preferred but not required.
1+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
Understanding of GMP and GDP standards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and complete documentation accurately.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with technical documentation.
Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Ability to wear full PPE and work in cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of production areas.
Prepare and transfer materials for production using proper aseptic handling.
Operate and maintain equipment across all production processes.
Complete GMP documentation including batch records and deviations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, QC, engineering, maintenance).
Load, operate, and unload sterilization equipment (autoclaves, HEPA transfer carts).
Assist with set up and operation of filling lines and related equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns as needed.
