Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a FULL-TIME Security Shift Supervisor for a pharmaceutical facility in Frederick, MD. The Shift Supervisor will manage unarmed security operations, enforce post orders, and ensure the safety of people and property during the assigned shift.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Excellent communication, leadership, and emergency response skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• Current and valid driver’s license required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in any discipline OR equivalent service in active-duty military, reserves, or National Guard.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates.
• Cross-training officers to increase versatility.
• Recommend productivity and cost reduction improvements to management.
• Suggest physical security surveys and post orders updates.
• Recommend positive/negative personnel actions for supervised staff.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on-site training for security officers.
• Ensure contract training and screening elements are met.
• Minimize overtime per policy.
• Inspect security personnel and performance for quality and contract compliance.
• Perform related duties (e.g., payroll, incident reports, security surveys).
