Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Facilities Maintenance/Operations Manager for our client site in the Greater St. Louis area.

The successful candidate will direct a workforce of technicians and reliability professionals in a pharmaceutical facility, ensuring KPI realization and strong client relations. You will act as a back-up to the Facility Program Manager and oversee safety, compliance, operations, personnel, and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent trade school credentials.
• 8+ years of facility operations and maintenance experience with 5+ years in supervisory roles.
• Technical knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience developing, managing, and improving KPIs.
• Staff management experience including disciplinary actions and performance appraisals.
• Eligibility to obtain a US security badge; must be a US citizen or permanent resident; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and compliance programs and develop JHAs for new work.
• Oversee site operations, maintenance planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Manage subcontractors, onboarding, and on-site performance with safety requirements.
• Develop project proposals with scope, cost estimates, and time/material analysis.
• Maintain client relations and drive continuous improvement and KPI delivery.
