Job summary

Legal Project Management Partners seeks an Engineering & Design Lead to drive pharmaceutical manufacturing projects in a GMP-regulated environment. You will oversee design, construction, and capital projects, coordinating across Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams.

The role requires on-site presence at a facility in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, with a focus on cost control, budget tracking, and project accounting, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality,

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or GMP-regulated facilities.
• Strong engineering design and construction background for pharma plants.
• Background in Engineering, Project Engineering, Construction or related technical field.
• Experience with CAPEX projects, cost control and budget management is preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; on-site work ability in Aguadilla, PR.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering and design activities for pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams.
• Support projects from engineering design through construction, installation, and completion.
• Review engineering documents, drawings, specs, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and engineering firms.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, costs, risks, and deliverables.
• Support cost control, budget tracking, and project financial activities.
• Ensure activities comply with GMP, safety, quality, and company requirements.
• Provide technical and project updates to internal stakeholders.
