Job summary

Novozen Healthcare LLC seeks a senior automation engineer for a 12-month contract to design and deliver pharmaceutical automation and digital plant solutions. You will work across process engineering, manufacturing operations, IT, and automation teams, focusing on DeltaV Batch DCS and data integration for batch records.

The role requires 7+ years in pharmaceutical API manufacturing, strong DCS/OT experience, and expertise in MES integration, GMP, and regulatory validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical API or bulk manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience with DeltaV Batch DCS and process automation.
• Background in OT operations, DCS engineering, and batch manufacturing.
• Experience designing and deploying greenfield or brownfield facilities.
• Experience integrating automation systems with MES and L2/L3 systems.
• Understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation.

Responsibilities

• Support design and delivery of pharmaceutical automation and digital plant projects.
• Work with DeltaV Batch DCS and process automation systems.
• Lead data flow mapping and integrate standalone systems with L2/L3.
• Support MES integration and ensure accurate data for batch records.
• Collaborate with Process Eng, Manufacturing, IT, and Automation teams.
• Contribute to digital plant strategy, data architecture, and historian solutions (AVEVA PI).
• Translate manufacturing needs into digital and automation solutions.
• Ensure GMP compliance and data integrity.
