Job summary

QCS Staffing is seeking an Automation Area Lead for a US-based life sciences program in Ohio. You will own automation deliverables, review process diagrams, and define S88 models and DeltaV components across physical and procedural layers.

The role requires strong DeltaV hands-on experience, experience delivering multiple DeltaV batch projects, and capability to oversee system integrators, develop functional specs, and support MES interfaces in a high-profile pharma facility.

Qualifications

• Extensive pharmaceutical automation experience; API/bulk preferred.
• Strong hands-on DeltaV experience and delivery of at least two pharmaceutical DeltaV batch projects.
• DeltaV BATCH programming and DCS implementation experience.
• S88 modelling and process-document interpretation.
• System integrator oversight, functional specifications and software testing.

Responsibilities

• Own functional requirements, control strategies and automation deliverable consistency within the assigned area.
• Review P&IDs, PFDs, process narratives and supporting process documents.
• Define S88 models and DeltaV software components across physical and procedural layers.
• Develop functional specifications with the system integrator.
• Support Parameter and Recipe Specification documents and MES interfaces.
