Job summary

HMG AMERICA LLC is seeking an experienced IT leader to drive data integration across Discovery Research, Data Science, and Chem/Bioinformatics in the pharma domain. You will work with SMEs to deliver technology solutions and ensure continuity across R&D IT landscapes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with IT MA&D, Product teams, and cross-functional partners to implement unstructured data strategies and compliant data workflows, leveraging Merck-specific tool knowledge as applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience with scientific software in pharmaceutical Discovery and Development.
• Proven track record in project management and strategic IT planning.
• Bridge between R&D and IT with customer-facing initiatives.
• Experience integrating unstructured data into MRL application landscape.
• Knowledge of FAIR data principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data integration projects and manage milestones.
• Collaborate with scientists to implement data capture, storage, search, integration, and visualization per FAIR principles.
• Process and manage entity registration requests from medicinal chemists and CRO partners.
• Support chemical registration and compound categorization for weekly screening compounds.
• Collaborate with IT Product teams to define needs and delivery approaches.
