Qualifications

• PhD and 7+ years of professional experience applying computational and data science approaches to interdisciplinary problems in drug discovery.

Responsibilities

• Sets vision and strategy for cheminformatics capabilities and platforms.
• Leads a multi-site team of cheminformatics and data science professionals.
• Develops talent and fosters an inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Engages stakeholders across drug discovery to understand needs and enable solutions.
• Translates challenges into scalable data architectures, workflows, and algorithms.
• Drives next-generation cheminformatics workflows with ML, knowledge graphs, and AI.
• Ensures deployment of capabilities in collaboration with project teams and IT.
• Builds partnerships with IT to support scientific workflows.
• Balances investment in new capabilities with use of existing solutions.
• Collaborates across Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Quantitative Biology, and Modeling.
