Job summary

Shoolin Inc. is seeking a Controls Systems Engineer – Pharmaceutical / BMS to support manufacturing automation and building control projects. You will work hands-on with PLC programming, DCS, HMI, and SCADA systems in pharmaceutical environments.

Ideal candidates have experience with BMS/EPMS, Rockwell products, and commissioning activities, plus the ability to interpret P&IDs and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant qualification.
At least 3 years of controls or automation experience.
Hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
Experience with BMS and EPMS systems.
Experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk, RSLogix/Studio 5000, or PlantPAx.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, test, and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA systems.
Support pharmaceutical automation projects, instrumentation, and electrical control systems.
Perform commissioning, loop checks, startup, calibration, and functional testing.
Support HVAC and plant utility controls, BMS/EPMS platforms, and field devices.
Interpret P&IDs, develop technical documentation, and execute test plans.
Coordinate with customers and engineering teams to ensure project quality and successful system delivery.
