Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Case Manager to oversee patient insurance and access to therapy, coordinating with RBMs, PALs, and MSLs to ensure timely approvals and reauthorizations. You will maintain case histories, track reimbursement and shipping for U.S.

patients, and triage denials and appeals. This on-site role in Los Angeles requires strong communication, 5+ years in pharma or case management, and ability to work with healthcare providers, payers and patient support programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent with 2 years of Case Management experience or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a Case Manager.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with RBMs, PALs and MSLs to ensure current communication on insurance approvals and reauthorizations.
• Case manage all steps required to gain access to therapy with patient/family.
• Report Adverse Events and product complaints through medical information.
• Maintain case history for all U.S. patients with hub, pharmacy and payer notes.
• Track reimbursement and shipping status of U.S. patients.
