Job summary

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a Scheduler / Planning Engineer to develop and maintain project schedules for capital projects in regulated pharma environments.

You will coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to support scheduling and execution across multiple projects. The role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to work on-site in the eastern region of Puerto Rico, and fluency in English and Spanish for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in PM or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in scheduling, planning, or controls.
• Experience with capital projects, engineering, or manufacturing projects preferred.
• Familiarity with schedule development, milestones, critical path concepts, and planning coordination.
• Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, Planisware, SAP, Smartsheet or similar tools.
• Excellent English and Spanish communication, reporting and coordination with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules for capital projects and engineering initiatives.
• Support schedule planning: logic development, milestones, sequencing, look-ahead planning.
• Coordinate updates, progress tracking, and reporting.
• Identify schedule risks, conflicts, delays, and resource constraints.
• Track priorities, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines.
• Assist with resource loading reviews and planning coordination.
• Participate in meetings and communicate schedule status and recovery actions.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineering, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain planning documentation, trackers, and records.
• Support continuous improvement in planning and project execution.
