Job summary

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. seeks a Scheduler / Planning Engineer to support capital projects in regulated pharmaceutical environments.

You will develop and maintain schedules, coordinate milestones, and ensure alignment with project teams across engineering, procurement, and construction. The role requires 3+ years in scheduling/planning, proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting project scheduling, planning, or project controls activities.
• Familiarity with schedule development, progress tracking, milestone management, critical path concepts, and planning coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules supporting capital projects and engineering initiatives.
• Support schedule planning activities including logic development, milestone tracking, sequencing, and look-ahead planning.
• Coordinate schedule updates, progress tracking, and schedule reporting activities.
• Support identification of schedule risks, conflicts, delays, and resource constraints.
• Assist with tracking project priorities, deliverables, dependencies, and execution timelines.
• Support resource loading reviews and planning coordination activities.
• Participate in project meetings and support communication of schedule status, risks, critical activities, and recovery actions.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to support schedule alignment activities.
• Support preparation and maintenance of project planning documentation, trackers, reports, and schedule records.
• Assist with schedule analysis and continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and project execution activities.
• Ensure planning and scheduling activities are performed in alignment with applicable project procedures and governance expectations
