Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a BMS Engineer to support building management and facility monitoring systems within a regulated GMP environment in Clayton, NC. Responsibilities include reviewing validation protocols, supporting qualification efforts, and configuring building management systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of validation, commissioning, or technical documentation experience in regulated manufacturing.
• HVAC, GMP, GxP knowledge and interpretation of P&IDs/operational sequences.
• Experience with building automation systems: controller config, IP addressing, networking, firewall awareness.
• Familiarity with major BMS technologies such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, or similar platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Life Sciences, or related technical discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and approve validation protocols, commissioning docs, and technical records for BMS/FMS platforms.
• Support qualification and compliance in GMP environments and ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate with vendors, project teams, and stakeholders for testing, implementation, and issue resolution.
• Assist with user administration, controller configuration, and platform setup for building automation and facility monitoring systems.
• Provide project updates, track deliverables, and maintain cross-functional communication to support project execution.
