Job summary

MassChallenge seeks a Pharma/Biotech Executive in Residence (EIR) to support the Breakthrough Bio biotech track. The EIR will mentor startups, contribute to curriculum, and mobilize a biotech network across Boston, San Diego, and Philadelphia.

This part-time engagement runs October 2026 through July 2027, approximately 5–8 hours per week, with in-person convenings in Boston, California, and Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• Biotech/pharma expertise as founder or senior exec.
• Network with pharma companies and investors.
• Mentorship and guiding early-stage entrepreneurs.
• Knowledge of FDA pathways and clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Share subject matter knowledge across therapeutic development and pharma models.
• Contribute to Boston Kickoff curriculum and regulatory pathways.
• Provide mentorship on clinical readiness and partnering strategy.
• Build and mobilize a pharma and investor network for cohort startups.
