Job summary

Meds.com, a rapidly growing consumer technology firm, seeks an Automation Technician to maintain our pharma-lab facilities in Elmhurst, IL. This hands-on role ensures uninterrupted operations, regulatory compliance, and efficient logistics across shipping, receiving, and waste management.

You will handle preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, and high-volume logistics, balancing technical tasks with strong regulatory awareness in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in facilities coordination, maintenance management, or operations logistics in pharma or related sectors.
• Experience with maintenance software (CMMS) and inventory systems.
• Willingness to perform hands-on tasks and basic repairs.
• Strong regulatory understanding for pharmacy environments.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• NetSuite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventative maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lab equipment.
• Manage vendor contracts and coordinate external technicians for safe operations.
• Track inventory and ensure calibration/servicing of laboratory assets.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics and compliant waste disposal.
